Use a Juicer to Produce Tasty and Healthy Juices

Most of us want to live a healthy life and want our family to follow our footsteps. It can be difficult to get your kids to drink a healthy fruits and vegetable juice every morning especially if you use something like wheatgrass in them, it gives a strong flavor to it. Adding vegetables that your kids don’t like and mixing them with tasty berries like strawberries can do the trick, but you will need to have a high quality juicer so you can hide the bits and pieces that come from hard parts of different vegetables.

Your kids will especially need lots of vitamins and antioxidants on a daily basis to be able to avoid the flu and other illnesses. They are in contact with a lot of other kids in their school or kindergarden and this is where it is beneficial to drink an immune boosting vegetable juice every day. Use a good juicer like one of a Jack Lalanne juicer to make them a juice in the morning, and you can be sure that your family is less troubled with illnesses in the future.
When you make fresh juices like this it is a good idea to rotate the vegetables and fruits that you use in them. Having a different kind of mix each day will guarantee that you are getting all the vitamins and antioxidants you need. I would recommend always using these groups in your juices, and then adding some other fruits and berries to suit your taste.

Group 1: Green superfoods

These are one of the healthiest foods in the world. I recommend always using wheatgrass, barley grass or spirulina in your juices. Don’t worry, they can easily be ‘hidden’ under a berries and fruits.
Group 2: Cruciferous vegetables
Being also very healthy, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach seeds or brussels sprouts. Adding one item from this group each morning to your shake will definitely make a little bit better. You will need to add some fruits to make the juice a bit moister though.
Group 3: Berries
This group is not filled with all berries, but instead bilberries, blueberries, acai berries and macqui berries. Choose one item from this group every morning, and you will get a lot of healthy polyfenols.
Group 4: All the rest
Add all the strawberries, raspberries, kiwis, bananas, oranges etc. to your juice that you want. If you have a good electric juicer, you can even make the juice a bit thicker by using a lot of bananas, and less fruits that have a lot of water in them.

If you choose to go with a stainless steel juicer, like the Jack Lalanne Power Juicer Pro, you can be sure that it is easy to maintain and easy to use. This can save you a lot of time and make it easier for you to keep the healthy habit in your daily routine.
